Chef Jessica

I LOVE Chinese Food and a couple of months ago I came across a great recipe for Orange Chicken. I have made it about 3 times, and it is better everytime I make it! YUM! That is what we had for dinner on Thursday. It was great! And I am OBSESSED with cream cheese wontons, they are so easy and delicious that I just eat them as a snack. YUM!!!

NACHOS!

On Monday we had some friends over for FHE (lesson, games, etc.). And we got to talking about restaurants, one couple told us about this great restaurant called The Matador. They have happy hour everyday from 4-6pm and a bunch of their food is half off ($4 or $5). So we went and got these delicous nachos which were huge and only cost $4! We also got some really good chicken tacos that were also $4! So we both ate (and were stuffed) for only $8.80! It was AMAZING! YUM...can't wait to go back! :)

Snoqualmie Falls

We set out to go on a hike to a Snoqualmie Falls viewpoint. The hike was beautiful and enjoyable...until I saw this sign...I was not a happy camper and did not want to continue on the hike. Especially once I found out that Richard had purposely been walking in front of me whenever he saw one of these signs so that I wouldn't see it...unfortunately for him...he missed this one and I saw it. After freaking out for about 5 minutes I grudgingly continued the hike.

Don't worry, we didn't see any bears. :) ...If we had Richard really would have been in trouble! :)

When we got to the viewing point at the end of the hike we were very disappointed with the view, it was really far away and you could only see the top of the water fall.

When we were driving to the trailhead we saw this sign and decided that we would stop for lunch on the way back. It was yummy and we got 3 cheeseburgers and an order of fries for $7.50! YUM!

After eating lunch we set out to find the "real" Snoqualmie Falls, and that was NOT a disappointment. It was absolutely beautiful!

Mommy!

After doing my Father's Day post yesterday I realized I never did my Mother's Day post. So here is a VERY belated Mother's Day post...

My mom is the best, she is my best friend, and the best mom a girl could ask for. I can always talk to her about anything and I have always been able to. Growing up with her I knew that she would always be there for me no matter what. She is patient and understanding and loving no matter what.

My mom is the best and I can't wait to see her in July! Love you!

Happy Father's Day!

I have the best dad in the whole world! He is one of my best friends in the whole world. I love talking to him and getting all of my sports updates from him! I loved going to BYU sporting events with him while I was growing up and I miss that a lot, but we will be sure to go to BYU events together whenever I come visit.

He is such a great example to me and shows me that he can get stronger and better every day.

He was always so supportive of me in everything that I did, he never missed a softball game or choir concert.

Thanks for everything dad, I love you!

Farmer's Market

On Thursday we went to the Lake City Farmer's Market. It was cute and fun but we didn't buy anything because it was too expensive and there really isn't a lot of fruit in season yet. But it was a lot of fun! :D

Canoeing

On Monday we went canoeing on Union Lake. Richard got his Student ID from UW so that we could rent a canoe for $5/hour. It was a lot of fun! We really enjoyed it and $5 is a GREAT deal!
