Christmas Morning

And again, we were too busy opening presents and having fun to take pictures, but we did remember to take pictures of Soren!  :)  We decided to just get him one big gift this year since we knew he would be getting enough toys from everybody else.  We got him a balance bike and brought it out last.  He loves it!

Christmas Eve Jammies

In my family it is a tradition to open up Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve, I love this tradition so this year we took it to Austin with us.  We even bought jammies for Richard's parents so they could enjoy the tradition with us.  But of course the only person that we thought to take pictures of was Soren.  :)  He was (IS) obsessed with his Lightning McQueen slippers.

Christmas #1

Before leaving for Austin we had our own little Christmas on Saturday morning.  We opened all of the gifts that we had received from my family.  It was lots of fun and Soren loved all of his toys!  It is so fun having him open presents, he totally understands it now and loves it!  It doesn't take long for kids to catch on!

Whenever Soren sees the camera or the phone he comes up and yells, "CHEEESE!"  and waits for you to take his picture.  :)  Love him.

Thanksgiving 2013

We had a great time in Austin for Thanksgiving this year!  Paul and Jess have a foreign exchange student from Germany, and her friend was visiting the week of Thanksgiving.  It was really fun to experience Thanksgiving with somebody who is seeing it all for the first time.  I had never really thought about what a strange holiday it probably seems to people that haven't grown up with it.  Thanksgiving dinner was delicious and as always, I ate way too much.

Richard and his dad and brother all participated in no shave November so we had to get a picture of them all together.

Soren enjoyed getting to watch some shows while we played games.  Life is good on vacation.  :)

Our Thanksgiving holiday was spent, eating, playing, watching TV and spending time with family.  It was a great vacation!

Parents

I love my mom and dad so much.  They have always been such wonderful examples to me and they are wonderful parents.  I love seeing them with Soren, he loves his grandma and papa so much, it is the sweetest thing I have ever seen.

Happy Anniversary, mom and dad.  Love you lots!
