Santa

While we were walking around the mall on Friday we saw Santa and there was no line so we took this opportunity to get Soren's first Santa picture...maybe in a few years he won't be crying in his Santa picture...

Hiking

I am not much of a hiker, but Richard's family loves to hike so Richard, Carolyn and Soren all went on a little hike and I took advantage of having some time to just relax with all my hands free! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

For Thanksgiving we drove down to Austin to spend the holiday with Carolyn and Tyler (Richard's sister and her husband). We had sooo much fun and Soren was so good, he made traveling with a baby sooo easy!

We had a great weekend of hanging out around the house, walking some malls, and just enjoying being together. Carolyn and Tyler were great with Soren and he loved having people to hold him all day every day.

Today we went and had family pictures taken, here are a few of our favorites.

This face is irresistable even after waking up every two hours all night long (and no, waking up every two hours is not typical for him).

ONE MONTH

I CANNOT believe that my baby is one month old. It is so crazy how fast the time goes...I feel like the last month of pregnancy lasted FOREVER, but the first month of having our sweet Soren on the outside has been the fastest month of my life! There aren't really many milestones to post for the first month, he still sleeps a lot and eats a lot...he is however awake more often than he was the first two weeks.

Soren is a great sleeper, he usually eats for the last time sometime between 8:30 and 10:00 pm and then wakes up at 1 or 2am and then again at 6am. We feel good about this, we have a great baby...and he is VERY cute! :)

As for my progress, I am feeling really good. The incision still has some tenderness, but for the most part I am feeling really good. I am down 24 pounds from the end of pregnancy, just 15 more to go to get to my pre pregnancy weight! :)

Balloon Festival

Yesterday we went to the Celina Balloon Festival, it was about 40 minutes north of us. It was pretty fun, but in the end they didn't get to do the balloon lift because it was too windy, so it ended up being just another fair, it was nothing special, but it was fun to get out. And afterward we had dinner at a cute little diner in town.

Cousins!

These girls are soooo cute with Soren, it is so fun to be close to cousins!

Another picture of my cute boys! As you can tell by Soren's blurry hand, he does not like to sit still. You know you have an abnormally wiggly baby when even the doctor (who has seen thousands of babies) comments on it. But I could have told you he would be wiggly before he even made his appearance, never a dull moment in my belly!
