Brotherly Love

I cannot get over how much Soren loves Beckett.  He is the best big brother!  I could watch him with Beckett all day long.  He is always so sweet.  He always wants to hold him, cuddle him, hug him and kiss him.  

Things I hear all day:

"Can I hold him?"

"I want to cuddle Beckett"

"I want Beckett to watch me"

I love them!

January Phone Dump

1 Month

Beckett is a fantastic baby!  We love him so much.  Soren loves his brother and wants to hold him all the time.  He mostly just sleeps.  :)  He sleeps well at night.  He typically wakes up around 1 and 5.  He has had a few nights that he has woken up more often, but it is usually just twice a night.

He is so great and adorable, we love our cute boy!

Daddy

Watching Richard with our boys is so sweet, he is such a good daddy.  I love seeing him cuddle with Beckett and play with Soren.  He is such a great dad!

Beckett and Radley

Radley has been doing really good with Beckett, she mostly just ignored him the first few days.  Now she will go up to him and sniff around to see what he is like.  But she mostly still just leaves him alone.

Tummy Time

Soren always hated tummy time so we never really did it with him, because I just couldn't sit there and listen to him scream.  Beckett LOVES tummy time, he is always happy on his tummy.  Soren now loves to do tummy time with his brother.  I always make a big deal out of it when Beckett lifts his head up and so Soren always lifts his head up as high as he can and says, "Look, mom!"  When Beckett is laying on his back Soren always yells, "oh, he needs tummy time!" and then he runs to get the blanket.  

I love that Soren loves his brother so much, I am excited to see there relationship develop through the years.

This is a Hard Life, but it is the Good Life

The days are hard.  The nights are hard.  Being a mom is HARD.  It is the hardest, most challenging thing I have ever done.  

The days are wonderful.  The days are joyful.  The days are a blessing.  I would not trade being a mom for anything in the world.

I feel so blessed to be able to have made the choice to stay at home with my boys.  I am so grateful that I can be home with them.  It is so hard and so rewarding.

The best things in life are the hardest things.

SUNBEAM

Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam

This cute boy started Sunbeams today!  I cannot believe that my baby has graduated from Nursery!  I didn't go to church today, and I was sad to miss his big first day in Sunbeams.  But it was all made okay when he ran in the house with a big smile on his face and was so excited to tell me all about it.  He got an "I Am a Child of God" crown, he loves it and wore it all day long.
