Jumping with Cousins
On the last day we were in Utah we got to go up to my aunt's house to play and have lunch. We were hoping to see them more often while we were in Utah, but we were busy and then they got sick. But we were so glad that they were ready for company before we left!
Soren had a blast playing on the trampoline with Riley. She was so nice to jump with him and they had a blast. The girls are all so good with Soren and I love seeing how much fun he has interacting with older kids.
So glad we got to go up and spend some time with them.
Hello, Mr. Potato Bug
When we first got to Utah Soren was TERRIFIED of bugs, especially potato bugs. If we were playing outside and he saw a potato bug he would run away or go ALL the way around the yard to get to the ball (or whatever he was trying to get) to ensure that he would not be anywhere near the bug.
However, after a few days he got quite comfortable. He decided that he wanted to be friend with the potato bug. He would get down in a little bear stance and just watch the bug crawl around.
Just to be Clear
I just thought I would throw these pictures in as proof that he isn't all smiles and giggles ALL the time. However, that being said I do feel very lucky with how easy going this boy is. Even his tantrums are mild and short lived.
I think the funniest/best part of tantrums is the fact that even though I am usually the reason he is upset (I took something away, I said "no", I made him get a diaper change, etc) he still looks to me to be the comforter. I love it, honestly. It makes me feel reassured that even though I sometimes feel like I am constantly saying no or disciplining he knows that I will always love him and be there for him.
Thanksgiving Point Farm
One day we decided to take Soren up to the Thanksgiving Point Farm. We had a really good time. And I may have wanted to take a baby goat home. Soren wanted a bunny. He was OBSESSED with the bunnies. He saw them, then he would start to walk away and then go running back to look at the bunnies again. This went on for about five minutes. It was pretty funny.
He's cute even with his nose all scratched up!

Pony ride
After the Thanksgiving Point Farm we went across the street so Soren could see the fish at Cabela's.
All Grown Up
My little brother is all grown up, he graduated from high school in May. My parents have seen all three of us now successfully make it through high school. :)
Don't let this picture deceive you, Soren loves his Uncle Jordan, but graduation didn't start til 6pm, he was tired.
Congrats Jord! Love you so much! So proud of you and I am so glad I could celebrate this milestone with you. I know that you will do great things in life and I cannot wait to see where life takes you.
Grandpa Time!
