Pictures!

We had our 18-20 week fetal anatomy ultrasound today and it was so fun to see our baby moving and see that the baby is healthy and happy in my belly! We got some really great pictures from the ultrasound. Richard and I both think that it is really cool that you can see the spine so clearly in the profile pictures.

We will be finding out the gender and we have a gender photo, but it is enclosed in an envelope until next Thursday. Next Thursday we will open the envelope while we are with Richard's family in Texas and my family will be on Skype. We are anxious, but very excited to share the moment with our families.

Tryin to be Crafty

As my motherly nesting instincts begin to kick in I have an ever growing project pile. I thought I would start a new blog (jesstryin2bcrafty.blogspot.com) to hold myself accountable for finishing my projects. :) This list and record is for me as much, if not more, than it is for you to see the projects. Dance Party

On Tuesday when I felt the baby move for the first time it was just small flutter.

When I felt it for the second time, on Friday, there were very distinct movements. I was definitely being elbowed or kicked, but I only felt about 2 or 3 kicks/elbows.

This morning is the same as Friday, but I have been feeling it every couple of minutes for about an hour. I think the baby is having a dance party.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Yesterday was 65 degrees and not a cloud in the sky, it was FANTASTIC! So we spent the day enjoying the sun and getting a painting project done and then for the evening we headed to the Mariners game...don't ask the score...but despite the score we had a lot of fun and it was a beautiful evening for baseball.

Some Days

I look pregnant...today is one of those days.

But I have experienced this before (last week) so just because I look pregnant today doesn't mean I will look pregnant tomorrow...eventually it won't come and go like this...but for now sometimes I have a belly and sometimes I do not.

Meds

Tried to not take my meds today...bad idea...

I made it until about 10:30 and I still haven't fully recovered from not taking my medicine first thing this morning...blek. :(

Fishy

Yesterday I felt the baby move for the first time. It is very faint and feels squirmy and twisty...feels like there is a fishy in my belly. It was exciting, the baby is alive and squirmy. :)

I texted Richard when it happened and he was very excited. He was very cute about it and told his mom and his sister about it and how excited he was. It was cute, I like that he is excited about the baby. :)

Just another week or two and then we will know the gender!!!!
