Soren Copter

Soren and Radley love playing with "Soren's copter" when daddy gets home from work.  Soren actually took all of these pictures.

Garbage Truck

While we were outside playing baseball one afternoon the garbage truck came by.  The garbage man saw Soren, got out and gave him a foam toy garbage truck.  Soren loves it, he is really into trucks, trains, planes, etc.

Hit It

Soren has recently discovered his love for baseball.  The weather has been gorgeous and he asks every day to go outside and "hit it" or "catch it."

Birthday Party

The past two years we have had Soren's birthday party at our house, but this year I decided that I just didn't have the energy required to have a party at the house and it is the beginning of October in Texas so park weather is typical.  Of course, the day we chose to have his party it was pretty chilly, but the kids didn't mind and we all had a great time.  Soren loved having all of his friends at the park for his birthday party.

THREE!!!!

I can't believe this crazy boy is THREE!  I seriously don't know where the time has gone.  I love birthdays and I must say, I think this was my favorite ever.  Celebrating your child's birthday when they actually get it is SOO FUN!  Soren was totally into his birthday and appreciated all of the special things that we did.  

We started off with a breakfast of pancakes and eggs.  Then we headed to the party store so he could pick out a birthday hat (he has been adamant about the fact that he needs a birthday hat).  He wore it the whole day and he got lots of comments about it, he was in heaven.

After getting his birthday hat we headed to gymnastics.  Then we went back to our house and had some friends over for a little toddler book club that we do every week.  After book club we headed to meet Richard for lunch.  Soren loved having lunch with daddy.  While Soren napped I made him a cake and cleaned up the house a bit. 

We had some friends over for dinner and cake.  After they left he got to open his presents and video chat with both sets of grandparents.

Richard had a remote control helicopter that he and Soren love to fly together, but it broke about a week before Soren's birthday, so we decided to get Soren a new one for his birthday.  As soon as he opened it he started yelling, "Soren's own copter, my own copter!" over and over and over, it was so adorable.

26 Weeks

I have been really horrible about taking pictures this pregnancy.  We are just busy all of the time and I just don't think about it very often.  Today I thought about it and made sure that we actually followed through.

I am feeling pretty good overall, just really tired, which can easily be explained by the fact that I am chasing a three year old around all day long.  Speaking of the three year old, he is wonderful and he is so excited to be a big brother.  He asks me every day if the baby is coming.  Someday, I promise.
