Yikes

Soren has some nasty seasonal allergies that come with yucky side effects.  Usually he ends up with an ear infection and we just treat it with essential oils at home.  This time, that was NOT working.  After leaving story time and having him scream in the car for a solid ten minutes we turned around and went to the doctor (after calling of course, luckily they had an appointment in 20 minutes and I took it!).  I walked in expecting to get an antibiotic for his ear infection and walked out with all of this!

Turns out his cough was also a wheeze (he had not been napping well because his cough was so bad that it was keeping him awake, but I had no idea he was wheezing!).

He was tortured by the breathing treatment and I was tortured by the prednisone.  That stuff makes for a cranky, moody child.  Luckily, it's only a five day med and we are back to enjoying our sweet, happy, silly boy.

Despite the miserable side effects of the prednisone I am grateful for modern medicine.

Package

Soren got a BYU package from Grandpa Brett and he loves it.  His jersey is adorable, thanks dad!

Touchdown Cougars!

Hats

Soren has been really into hats lately.  He loves to get Richard's hats and put them on.  And recently he discovered that he owns a hat.

Trucks

Soren is OBSESSED with trucks so we went with some friends down to the library even with all the city trucks, diggers, etc.  We were there for about 10 minutes.  The boys look less than thrilled in these pictures, and to be honest that is how we all felt.  It was loud and hot...maybe next year.

Austin

A few weeks ago we went down to Austin for Richard's sister's baby shower.  We had a really good time, we were too busy having fun so there aren't many pictures.  But I did get picture of the boys getting ready to go on their bike ride!

Love

I just can't get enough of my sleeping boy!

New Kitchen!

Before

Whoever thought white laminate was a good idea was wrong.

Hard at work

After

We are completely in love with our new kitchen!  Now we just have to get the new blinds and we will be all done!  We could not have done all of this without Richard's mom and dad.  Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your hard work!
