The best part of this video is that Soren loves to watch it and while he is watching it he laughs, and copies the faces and dance moves.  

On the Fence

Fire Station

On Friday morning we got to go tour the firehouse with our PTA group.  Soren thought it was so great when he got to climb in and sit in the fire truck.  He loves trucks!  It was a lot of fun and we (I) learned a lot of interesting things!

Saturday

Saturday morning we headed downtown to the Nasher Sculpture Museum.  They have Target First Saturdays, free with kids activities.  Right up our alley, it is nice to get out and do something new.  We met up with some friends there and then headed over to Klyde Warren Park to let the boys run around and get lunch at the food trucks.  Happy Saturday.

After dinner we went to our city's festival and walked around enjoying the weather and the booths.  Then we enjoyed the free concert by Sugar Ray.  Smash Mouth was after them, but it was late and Soren had been a trooper, it was time to get him to bed so we headed home before they went on.

Bedsharing

This picture is blurry, but you get the idea.  Soren LOVES to climb into Radley's bed and cuddle (bug) her while she is minding her own business.

Halloween

I will be the first to admit that Halloween has never been my favorite holiday (not even close actually), however having a kid makes it way more fun and we had a great Halloween.

We started out the morning going to PTA playgroup at a friend's house.  Soren enjoyed running around with all of his friends and then getting all dressed up in jewelry by his friend's 3 year old sister.  She was quite proud of herself and all smiles when Soren walked out with a necklace, bracelet and hair clip on the end of his trunk.  It was pretty funny, but we couldn't get a picture of it before he started to take it all off.

After nap Soren got back in his costume and we headed to the library.  They give out a book to each kid that comes in wearing their costume on Halloween.

Our neighborhood is pretty dead on Halloween as far as trick-or-treating goes so we headed to a friend's house for dinner and trick or treating.  The weather was amazing so we enjoyed dinner on the porch before leaving to go trick-or-treating.  These two boys are so funny together, I love watching Soren really start to interact with and recognize his friends.

The boys each got to enjoy a sucker while we continued to enjoy the gorgeous weather.
