Hanging with Friends

Soren spent the morning hanging out with Weston and Nathan at our house while their mom got some things done.  Soren asks for Weston several times a day and if I tell him we can't see him he quickly replys with "Nay-Nay" (Nathan).  He knows where one is he can usually find the other and he loves them both.

Swimming Season is Here

It was very warm (but not miserably hot) last week so we took advantage of the great weather and met a friend at their neighborhood pool.  Soren loved being in the water, he always has.  This summer is going to be so much fun!

CooCoos

Our early childhood PTA group has all kinds of fun socials.  We went to CooCoos, a place with all sorts of inflatables.  They also had a train that Soren was in love with.  He would have ridden it the entire time we were there if I would have let him.  The compromise was he could ride it a few times then he had to go play on the slides for 10 minutes or so then back and forth back and forth.  I think he rode the train about 12 times in the 2 hours we were there.  He had a blast, I love watching him get so big and be able to do these kinds of things.

Egg Hunt

All of the big churches here put on big Easter Egg hunts for the community so we went and enjoyed one of them.  Soren had a great time.  We took food with us so that we could enjoy a picnic after. There was a park where the hunt was and he played for well over an hour on the playground.  It was a fantastic Saturday morning.

Pehpane (aka Airplane)

Soren is OBSESSED with airplanes.  Our friend found out that DFW airport has a little area where you can watch the airplanes land and take off.  They also have the air traffic control speakers on so you can listen to the pilots.  We had a great time watching the airplanes with our friends.

They look less than thrilled in this picture, but they are all looking at the camera.  That is impressive!
