Christmas #1

Soren got to have two Christmases for his first Christmas. We spent Christmas in New Hampshire so before going we had our own little Christmas to open presents from my family.

Good Morning!

The morning that we were getting ready to go to New Hampshire I went in to get Soren out of his crib after he had woken up, but before I could get him out I had to call Richard in because this is what I found...

Yes, he had not only broken out of his swaddle but he also managed to take his sleep gown off in the process. Needless to say, he is VERY wiggly (and has very narrow shoulders like his mama)!

2 Months Already?!?

I can't believe my baby is 2 months, we had his 2 month checkup yesterday and when we walked into the waiting room there was a tiny little newborn in there and I couldn't believe how small he was! It is crazy how quickly I have forgotten how small Soren was...it has only been 2 months, it has gone so fast and yet I feel like he hasn't been that small in FOREVER!

Anyway...

At 2 months Soren:

-Weighs 12 lbs (50th percentile)

-Measures 22 5/8 inches (50th percentile)

-Smiles a lot and is a very happy baby

-Is getting better at playing on the ground so mom can get some things done

-LOVES being swaddled for bed time

-Loves being in the Moby Wrap

-LOVES LOVES LOVES being outside...it is kind of ridiculous, he will be fussy and tired and the second you step outside he is completely content...needless to say we check the mail more than we need to...

-Enjoys going on walks in his stroller

-Sleeps well at night (last night he went 8pm-1am, 1:40am-6:00am and 6:30am-9:15am

Our boy is just growing so fast and I can't believe how quickly time goes by!!! We love him so much and couldn't be happier, we feel so blessed!

Also while in Utah Soren was reunited with Grandma Vickie, he has changed A LOT since the last time they were together!

UTAH!

Soren and I just got back from a 10 day trip to Utah and it was so much fun! We got to eat lots of delicious food and see lots of people that we love. I enjoyed the extra help and adult interaction during the day, but I really missed having my nighttime parent. :)

Soren got to meet lots of people while we were in Utah, some pictured and unfortunately, some not...
