Water Party

This weekend was our annual ward water party. Summer still hasn't arrived in Seattle, so it was only in the 70s, but that didn't stop Richard from going tubing. And it didn't stop me either...but my belly did. Luckily I was still able to enjoy myself watching Richard and his classmate, Lorne, go tubing. I think that watching is at least as entertaining as being on the tube!

...

Sometime in the next 4-8 weeks (hopefully closer to 4!) we will have a baby...CRAZY!!

And in exactly 9 days we will be on a plane to Dallas, Texas to start the next chapter of our lives.

We don't have a place to live yet (but I do have a doctor, which at this point may be more important than a place to live...), we will stay with Paul and Jess (Richard's brother) while we hunt for a place to live and hopefully by the time our stuff gets there we will have a place for the movers to take it.

Needless to say, the next 4-8 weeks will fly by...we're a little busy...

12 Days

I have changed my blog background in honor of the fact that in just 12 short days I will be in a place that actually feels like summer and I can go swimming. Finally.

Who Woulda Thought?

Turns out our baby is going to be a Texan...who woulda thought???

Richard has accepted a job with Terracon in Dallas, TX. We will be flying out there on August 25th and his first day of work is August 31st.

The wonderful thing about getting a job with a large company is that they are paying a moving company to relocate us...they are even going to pack for us...that makes me one very happy pregnant lady!!! :)

3 Years!

Our three year anniversary was on Sunday so we went out and celebrated on Saturday. It was my year to plan and we had a great time. We started our evening at Matador for happy hour nachos.

Then for our activity we went to Paint the Town.

We ended the night by getting a dessert crepe from a little dessert place in University Village.

It was a wonderful day and it has been a FANTASTIC three years. I love this boy even more than I did 3 years ago and I cannot wait to see him as a daddy!
